The meaning of the word ekklesia is church and the New Testament disclosed it to us that the ekklesia was meant to be a gathering of people united with the same vision and has existed since the history of revelation. The church was meant to reflect a community and when it started out it was a union for the Jews and the Gentiles enriched in the Holy Spirit. The church and its foundation focused on the ideology that it was the reason and justification for saving action of Jesus in his death and ultimately Resurrection, along with the act of sending and unifying with the Spirit.
